Student Ambassadors

The mission of an AJMLS Student Ambassador is to strive to improve the quality of the law school through professionalism, dedicated service, and a direct partnership with the Office of Admissions. These individuals play a vital role by sharing their AJMLS experience to prospective students as well as representing AJMLS throughout the academic year.

Student Ambassador Request Form (for employees use only)

To be eligible for the program, you must have completed your first year and be in good academic standing by Fall 2023. If you are unaware of your current academic standing, please see the Registrar. Each Ambassador will be asked to serve for a period of one year and fulfill at least 10 hours per semester.
Interested students must fill out the application below by Monday, May 1st. We will begin interviewing selected applicants the following week.

As a Student Ambassador you will able to list this prestigious position on your resume, track your service hours, and gain recognition during the graduation ceremony.

The following is a list of possible duties:

Office of Admissions

  • Accepted and Prospective Student Visits
  • Greet and escort prospective students for class visits
  • Be available during established weekly tour schedules
  • Speak to visiting undergraduate and high school groups
  • Prepare direct mailing packets

Admission Events

  • Meet and greet prospective students
  • Organize other student volunteers
  • Give prospective student tours
  • Represent the student body as a speaker at the event
  • Help to set up and clean up as needed

Recruiting

  • Participate in virtual recruiting events    
  • Represent student body at weekend and evening recruiting events
  • Help create recruiting packets when needed
  • Make phone or email contact with prospective and accepted students

Alumni Affairs

  • Contact Alumni to update directory information
  • Help with mailings
  • Represent student body at Alumni events

School-Wide

  • Greet and escort guests to and from events
  • Represent student body at school-wide functions
  • Organize other student volunteers
  • Help with graduation activities
  • Help to set up and clean up events as needed
  • Provide a profile for AJMLS Website
