2017 National Celebration of Pro Bono
October 15, 2017 to October 28, 2017
The 2017 National Celebration of Pro Bono takes place October 22-28, 2017 and focuses attention on the public service work that lawyers and law students do to improve the lives of their friends, neighbors and communities. The ABA Standing Committee on Pro Bono and Public Service chose to launch this important initiative because of the increasing need for pro bono services during these harsh economic times. The Office of Student Affairs and Pro Bono Programs will be joining in the celebration this year by launching the First Annual Pro Bono Challenge. The Challenge will last from October 15-28, 2017. An extra week was added to this celebration to give faculty and students ample opportunity to participate.
