Professor Kathleen Burch presents at both the 2024 Annual District Conference for the District Court for the Northern Mariana Islands and the Joint District Conference for the District Court of Guam and Pacific Judicial Council (PJC). On August 24 at the Annual District Conference for the District Court of the Northern Mariana Islands, Professor Burch presented a Supreme Court Review and was a member of the Ethics Conversation panel which focused on ethics in Artificial Intelligence. On August 25 and 26, at the Joint District Court Conference for the District Court of Guam and the PJC, Professor Burch gave three presentations: Supreme Court Review: Civil Cases; Supreme Court Review: Criminal Cases; and Administrative Law: Life after Chevron – Reshaping the Future of Regulatory Litigation.
Professor Burch’s presentations at these conferences are part of her continued work to support the Pacific Judicial Council Education Committee’s mission to provide training to the islands’ judicial and legal community.
