The Criminal Justice Honors Program at Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School

presents

Justice for the Poor: Helping our Clients Navigate the Justice System

(A CLE Program Designed for Public Defenders and Defense Attorneys)

The Criminal Justice Honors Program prepares students to become practitioners in the criminal justice arena. The Law School partners with public defender and prosecutor offices to prepare the advocates needed to help build and maintain a criminal justice system committed to the principles of fairness and equal treatment. This event is designed to introduce both public defenders and defense attorneys to the Honors Program as well as provide insight into some current criminal justice issues.

The sessions are informed by the Honors Program curriculum and presented by some of the faculty who teach in it. Participants in the event are eligible to receive 5 CLE credits upon completion (3 Trial, 1 Ethics, and 1 Professionalism).
